Four police officers were injured Saturday morning as a suspect drove into a crowd of people.

Officers with the Green Bay responded to a disturbance at a food truck at about 2:15 a.m. local time Saturday and were attempting to take some people into custody when a car drove toward bystanders and officers, prompting one officer to open fire.

The suspect then fled, which led to a short police chase that ended when officers did a PIT maneuver, a tactical move used by police to stop drivers.

He added that a couple of the officers injuries happened before the vehicle drove into the crowd, when they were attempting to take people into custody.
